Thank you to everyone who came out for our Rubbernecker Trunk show and classes, they were a huge hit! They had a lot of fun and enjoyed meeting everyone, thank you for such a great welcome to them.
I personally really enjoyed the rain and colder weather last week, hoping for more soon. One thing I just realized is I feel sort of cheated out of “soup weather”, you know those cold rainy days when your house smells amazing with a large pot of everything but the kitchen sink simmering together… So, I am going to make soup, and maybe cornbread to go along with it. Even if it is warm and sunny outside, maybe if we all make soup then rain will come back ?
This week we got in a new line for our store, one that many of you have requested; “My Besties” a very cute and fun line of stamps. They just released their new ones, “fluffies”.
We also got in the new watercolor pencils from Spectrum Noir, these normally retail over $40, as a special we are offering these at $34.99. We do have a set open in the store if you would like to give them a try.
We are excited about the upcoming yardsale, spring cleaning always feels great! So far we have over 50 people signed up to sell their gently loved crafting items, be sure to plan on coming by to get some great deals. If you would like to sell your items we are still taking sign ups.
A fun new way to create and socialize at the same time, we are offering a “Card Buffet” on Friday April 22 from 5-8pm. There will be lots of options for you to choose from, kits will be prepared, you choose which cards you’d like to do. Cards will cost $3-$5 each. Bring your basic kit and join us. You are welcome to bring your dinner or a snack as well.
Next weekend we are excited to sponsor a motorcycle ride for Autism, more info below in the newsletter.
We hope that you have a fun filled week and make some time to create something beautiful! Be inspired by all of the beauty around you.
Take care and have a blessed week
