Lets fight the June Gloom going on outside and create with bright beautiful colors, papers, & products. When is the last time you watercolored? How about pulling out your color pencils and coloring a few images? Pull out a favorite ink pad and see how many different techniques you can find to “put some color down”!
Yep, it sounds like a challenge to me. When it is sort of “gloomy” outside I often brighten up my day with bright colors on paper. Here is a challenge moment,,, you buy paper, we all buy paper – often times waiting for that perfect moment to create. Well, here it is, it is not going to create itself.
Pull out that one piece of paper that you think is “too pretty to cut it up” and make 2 cards with it. If you are looking for imspiration, come in to the store and take photos of some of our samples, we have hundreds hanging up around the store for you to find your starting point. and… can i just say, while we can tend to log on to our computer looking for inspiration… often that turns in to such a time waster, as we then just look and look and look, and then all of a sudden the entire morning is gone – and then you are overwhelmed because you probably looked at 20 or more pictures. Look at just one, then use that as a base to create, turn off your computer and pick up your paper and start!
looking forward to hearing from you: which paper did you cut up?
We hope to see you soon, have an amaing and blessed week
