I’m the oldest staff member, but the youngest in stamping craft years. I’ve always had a love for art and fine crafts and am an eclectic collector of sorts. Little did I know that a serendipitous Iris Fold class a mere 5 years ago would lead to an avocation that is creatively stimulating and personally satisfying in my “retirement years”. The Stamp Addict is a family in the truest sense – we care, share, work, laugh and play together and yes, sometimes we have a good cry together too! I have learned so much from the team, the other teachers and the customers. Their generosity in sharing their talents and knowledge has allowed me to continue developing my own “style”. My favorite products are just about anything from Ranger and Stamper’s Anonymous. I especially love to experiment and teach with Distress Inks. Class members are often surprised by how many ways they can be used and the almost infinite degree of shading they can produce. My favorite classes to teach are our Technique Tuesdays. It’s a challenge to come up with a project that can be completed in an hour and is new to our customers. I really enjoy the creative challenge and sharing what I’ve learned. My favorite projects tend toward vintage and layered creations that beg to be touched.
